Chain Reaction

Terms of use

Chain Reaction is a free browser game. There is nothing to buy, nothing to sign up for and nothing to install. These terms are short because the relationship they describe is short: you open a page, a simulation runs in your browser, and that is the whole of it.

Last updated: August 22, 2026. Governed by the laws of the United States.

1. What you are allowed to do

Play the game, as much as you like, on any device, alone or with other people watching. Link to it. Stream it, record it, write about it, and put footage of it in a video without asking permission first. No attribution is required for play footage, although a link back is always welcome.

2. No account, no payment

There is no account system and no payment of any kind. All 36 levels and all five difficulty tiers are available from the first visit. Nobody will ever ask you for a card number on this site; if something claiming to be Chain Reaction does, it is not this site.

3. Your progress lives on your device

Solved levels, stars, best piece counts, your difficulty tier and your sound and motion settings are stored in your own browser's localStorage and nowhere else. That means there is no backup and no recovery: clearing your browser's site data, playing in a private window, or switching to a different browser or device will present you with a fresh game. This is a deliberate consequence of collecting nothing about you, and it is described in full in the privacy notice.

4. Availability

The site is provided as-is and as-available. It may be taken down, moved, or changed at any time without notice. After the first successful load a service worker caches the game, so it will generally keep working offline even if the site is unreachable, but that is a convenience rather than a promise.

5. No warranty

The game is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain liabilities, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the service for other people, and do not use automated systems to hammer the site at a rate a person could not. Beyond that there is little to misuse: the game accepts no uploads, hosts no user content and has no other users to affect.

7. Intellectual property

The Chain Reaction level designs, artwork, sound synthesis and source code belong to their author. The game is built on Matter.js, an open-source 2D physics engine distributed under the MIT license, which carries its own terms and its own copyright notice.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may change with a future build. The date at the top of this page is the build date of the version you are reading, and continuing to play after a change means you accept the revised terms.

9. Contact

This build was generated and deployed with Quodara. The case page for it, including the prompt that produced it, is at quodara-ai.com/showcase/chain-reaction.
